Hi,

I am running the latest avfs on Solaris 8, with a libexpat I compiled
myself. Both libexpat and my installation of avfs are in my home. I can
read from, but not write to, remote file systems. This is just an
example, the same sort of error happens over ssh.

% echo "hello" >| hello
% scp hello [email protected]:
hello
100% 6 0.0KB/s 00:00
% ls /\#ftp:[email protected]/Users/gregortriplehorn
Desktop/ Library/ Music/ Public/ bar hello
Documents/ Movies/ Pictures/ Sites/ foo*
% dd if=/\#ftp:[email protected]/Users/gregortriplehorn/hello # cat
has a bug
hello
% cp hello /\#ftp:[email protected]/Users/gregortriplehorn/hello2
cp: cannot create
/#ftp:[email protected]/Users/gregortriplehorn/hello2: No such file
or directory
% dd if=/\#ftp:[email protected]/Users/gregortriplehorn/hello
of=/\#ftp:gregortriplehorn-gOcplodjWkaJgU1YvvOBs2JiwOkYxero@public.gmane.org/Users/gregortriplehorn/
hello2%
dd: /#ftp:[email protected]/Users/gregortriplehorn/hello2%: open:
No such file or directory

Is there anything I'm missing out?

Thanks,

Guillaume
