[AVFS] avfs cvs compile

After downloading CVS and doing autoheader/autoconf, configure aborts with
the following messages:

checking for library containing nanosleep... none required
checking for library containing gethostbyname... none required
checking for library containing socket... none required
./configure: line 4561: syntax error near unexpected token `0,12'
./configure: line 4561: `    NEON_REQUIRE(0,12)'

I just want to install avfs to integrate with Rox.

My system is Kernel 2.6.5, Slackware 9.1 upgraded.
