As for mballoc, I noticed a limitation which you may already be aware of.
sbi->s_group_info is an array of pointers to structures containing per-group
information. IIRC, kmalloc is limited to 128kB which means that the allocation
of sbi->s_group_info will fail for filestems bigger than
(128kB / sizeof(void *)) * (blocksize * 8) * blocksize.
As a consequence, mballoc cannot currently be used beyond 2TB on 64-bit
architectures with a 4kB block size.
