RE: 9/10 intermezzos prefer eating memory

Would be really nice if those of you who can confirm this would rise
their voice on this list and shout something like "Yes, true, we tried
it, it works and we are happy".

Otherwise we risk that many potential Lustre users will expect it to
be just repeated Intermezzo story (thought on much bigger scale). We
all remember times when optimism about Intermezzo was maybe even
bigger than current optimism about Lustre.

Personally I am not in position to rise this optimistic voice as my
determination to try Lustre was not strong enough to get there. (And
yes, I am otherwise quite pervasive when it comes to trying complex
opensource projects.) I felt rather scared by Lustre www saying
something like "Yes, you can try it yourself, but most likely you will
fail and need our commercial support." Well, the wording was certainly
different, but it made this impression to me.

Please, please, if you can, tell us some positive experience with
Lustre. Let's leave the right message at the end of the Intermezzo
archive. We already know that Peter Braam is optimistic. That is good,
very good. But I would love to hear some other optimistic
voices. Otherwise this my own not very optimistic message will be what
people considering Lustre future will read.

Please prove my fears wrong, as loudly as you can.
