Quota Support in Intermezzo

Hi,
as far as i know, Intermezzo does not support quota,
but since that this is a very important for us, my question
to you is if somebody is already working on the quota
support and i am interested in supporting quota for Intermezzo.
But i am not very much into developing bigger software projects,
so there is maybe someone out here who can give me hints,
where to look and how to start, is the new quota code in the
2.5.x kernel worth a look, and is it possible to implement that into
Intermezzo?
