PROBLEM# 1
==========

How could I get a module for '--V--intermezzo'?

    Aaccording to the 'quick start' manual on your website, it is
    possible to use file cache, and mount the cache with type name
        'vintermezzo'.

PROBLEM# 2
==========

How to configure the system as 'two-way synchronization' in a
    two-machine case?

PROBLEM# 3
==========

I followed the procedure from your web site, but it did not work for me.
I had to do a little bit different. There was a problem with launching
'intersync' on client machine:

server:
*******

<SuSE 7.x with upgraded kernel 2.4.22>
<intersync-0.9.5>
-------------------------------------------------------

# mkizofs -r compaq /dev/hdc2
Cache file system type is ext3
Root fileset name is compaq

Using mke2fs -q to create cache file system
mke2fs 1.32 (09-Nov-2002)
Creating InterMezzo journal files
Processing root file set compaq
# mount -t intermezzo /dev/hdc2 /compaq
# incontrol set_fset_root /compaq compaq

(/var/intermezzo-0/cache is s-linked to /compaq)

# cd /compaq
# ls
.  ..  ..iopen..  .intermezzo  lost+found
# cd .intermezzo
# ls
.  ..  compaq  config  rootfset
# more config
<profile>
 <uuid>10610cd2-4ecb-4f43-a5e5-6797a1576a39</uuid>
 <fset>rootfset</fset>
 <server_port>370</server_port>
 <local_ip>*</local_ip>
 <local_port>370</local_port>
</profile>
# cd ~
# intersync /compaq

client:
*******

<SuSE 7.x with upgraded kernel 2.4.22>
<intersync-0.9.5>
-------------------------------------------------------

does the same as the 'server'
The content of config file:

<profile>

 <fset>compaq</fset>
 <server>svr</server>
 <server_port>370</server_port>
 <local_ip>192.168.0.6</local_ip>
 <local_port>2432</local_port>
</profile>

# intersync --server=svr /compaq

My two cents:
*************

It would be nice to have installation/configuration files relate a env,
say INTERSYNC_HOME, so that different linux could have identical conf
files layout. For example, RedHat has a dir '/etc/sysconfig'. Some
of the 'intersync' files reside under this directory. But SuSE linux does
not have this directory. It would be nice if these files would reside
under INTERSYNC_HOME/etc. Symbolic links can be appied to these files
with diff flavours of linux.

Thanks!
