kladmin v0.2.1 is now available for download: http://www.rjsystems.nl/en/2100-kladmin.php Latest: Version 0.2.1 includes numerous bugfixes and code improvements, but also one new option for kladmin.conf -- IDMAX -- to set the maximum ID number for OpenAFS and OpenLDAP accounts. General: Written in Perl, kladmin is a user account administration tool for systems based on MIT Kerberos V, OpenLDAP and OpenAFS, although it can also be configured to work without OpenLDAP (and/or OpenAFS). kladmin is a front-end for a number of standard utilities that makes it easy to create, delete and request information about accounts across all three of the aforementioned subsystems, whereby the names and ID numbers of the accounts are carefully coordinated. It can also work with individual sub-accounts. New accounts can be created individually, but input files with lists of names are also accepted, in which case the passwords are generated automatically. In addition, kladmin can create overviews of existing accounts in all three subsystems, sorted according to Kerberos account names, OpenLDAP user IDs, OpenLDAP group IDs, or OpenAFS IDs. Comments welcome. Jaap Winius RJ Systems The Netherlands
