First OpenAFS 1.6.19 release candidate available

The OpenAFS Release Team is pleased to announce that the first 1.6.19
release candidate, 1.6.19pre1, is now available.

Source files and available binaries can be accessed via the web at:

or via AFS at:

There are no binaries yet. Those will be uploaded as they become available.

Besides other bug fixes and minor improvements, this prerelease includes
fixes that prevent cases where a database write could be lost or an old
version of the database be used instead of the latest version.
