OpenAFS 1.8.8 beta 1 available

The OpenAFS Release Team is pleased to announce that the prerelease
1.8.8pre1 is now available.

This prerelease brings performance and reliablity improvements, improved
diagnostics, support for the latest Linux mainline kernel (currently 5.12)
and macOS 11.0 "Big Sur" as well as support for recent FreeBSD releases
and a number of bug fixes.
