Why is this discussion on the win32 development list?
As for Coda vs AFS. Coda is a research project which has never
seen extensive real world deployment. AFS is a widely deployed
global distributed file system which is mapped into a variety
of ftp and http servers. A publicly writable AFS server would
be immediately taken over by warez distributions.
