You can tell if an item is a Symlink by selecting it and then displaying
the AFS->Symlinks menu.  If the item is a Symlink, the menu has a remove
Symlink option.

I personally thing the AFS->MountPoint->Show item is silly.  It is 
supposed to tell you if the selected item is a mount point or not.
Unlike the AFS->Symlink menu, the AFS->MountPoint menu does not 
conditionally display the "Remove" option based upon whether or not
the item is a MountPoint.  I think that is a bug that should be fixed
and the MountPoint->Show item should be removed.

A hard link is indistinguishable to the client from a file and therefore
there is nothing to be shown.  One thing that does concern me is that
the Explorer seems to be unable to display basic file information such
as size and date for files stored in AFS.  I need to look into why that
is the case.  My guess is that it is simply a problem caused by a 
failure to implement one of the required features in the SMB/CIFS server.
