This past weekend Microsoft released build 5744 (RC2) of Windows Vista.
As of this build the show stopper bug that prevented OpenAFS from
working if the Windows File and Printer sharing service is enabled
has been fixed.   OpenAFS will now work as long as the loopback adapter
is installed.

It is rumored that there are only a few weeks before Vista RTM.
There is not a lot of time to shake out bugs in Vista that might affect
the use of OpenAFS.  Please test OpenAFS and Vista in your environments.
If we don't catch the bugs now, they are going to haunt us for the next
five years.
