Bharat:

By no means do I wish to discourage your desire to learn about 
distributed file systems or windows device driver development,
but the native file system replacement which is to be presented at
this week's AFS & Kerberos Best Practice Workshop is being developed
by a team of developers who have many years of experience of
designing file systems for Microsoft Windows, not just AFS.

If you are interested in contributing to OpenAFS, I would suggest
that you start by contributing patches for bug fixes, documentation,
or smaller features.  Once you have established your abilities and
are known to the development community can you begin to work on the
larger more complex projects.
