Hello folks:

Today's daily builds (2004-07-13) require some serious testing. There
are three major sets
of changes which have been added over the last week. I need help
tracking down bugs if
there are any.

    * SMB Authentication
    * XP SP2 Internet Connection Firewall auto-configuration (to allow
      callback messages)
    * All INI files are no more. Please see afs-changes-since-1.2.txt

Daily builds can be obtained from:

    \\afs\athena.mit.edu\user\j\a\jaltman\Public\OpenAFS\
    http://web.mit.edu/~jaltman/Public/OpenAFS/

I would like to publicly thank Asanka Herath (a MIT student) for his
extensive contributions
to this release. This release would not be the same without him.

On a side note for those building from source code. As of tonight, the
required version of
the Platform SDK is the Microsoft Windows XP SP2 SDK. (Core, Data
Access and Windows
Installer SDKs must be installed.)
