did you install KFW?  If yes, then Kerberos 5.  In which case you can 
use Leash32 to obtain
tickets outside of OpenAFS.  If not, then Kerberos 4, in which case you 
are using the built in
kauth library and the Kerberos 4 server must be listed as the first of 
your servers in the
CellServDB file if you are using something other than kaserver to host 
Kerberos.

Although if you are creating a new cell and not using Kerberos 5 I 
recommend against it.
