This is not an issue.  If you are going to disable the AFS Client 
Service then you must
also remove the afslogon.dll network provider.   Unchecking Integrated 
Logon means that
tokens are not obtained during logon.  It does not mean the network 
provider does not
wait until the afs client service has started.
