Merged on the stable branch:
15300 rx: Do not ignore RXS_* op errors

15334 is currently the top commit in gerrit for 1.8.x. That is
a linear set of changes for 1.8.x.

Mike will gather the list of gerrits from Ben Huntsman for AIX support, already
merged on master.
