GSoC 2025: Interest in GNOME Shell Extension for OpenAFS

Dear OpenAFS Developers,

I am Tejas V, and I’m interested in contributing to OpenAFS for Google
Summer of Code 2025. I joined the #openafs IRC channel on March 24 as
"tejasv" and subscribed to this mailing list today. I’m particularly
excited about the "Develop a GNOME Shell Extension for OpenAFS" project
listed on the GSoC project ideas page.

I have experience with JavaScript and have recently started learning about
GNOME Shell extensions and OpenAFS client operations. I’d love to discuss
this project further & specifically, which features you’d prioritize for
the extension and any challenges I should be aware of when interacting with
the OpenAFS client.

I’m eager to collaborate and learn from the community. I look forward to
hearing your thoughts!
