I'm trying to run the AFS client on freebsd-current, when starting afsd my system panics with "mount: lost mount". I don't run or test on freebsd-current. I see nothing obvious in the vfs_mount.c cvs log, but of course the breakage could be almost anywhere. Are you sure your afs client was built against the same source used to build the kernel you're running?
