You can check the signature running the following command:

$ codesign --verify -vvvv <kext>

e.g.

$ codesign --verify -vvvv /Library/OpenAFS/Tools/root.client/usr/vice/etc/afs.kext

/Library/OpenAFS/Tools/root.client/usr/vice/etc/afs.kext: valid on disk
/Library/OpenAFS/Tools/root.client/usr/vice/etc/afs.kext: satisfies its Designated Requirement
