1.6 to 1.8 upgrade information

Hello,

I'm looking for OpenAFS 1.6 to 1.8 upgrade information. One hint can be 
found in OpenAFS 1.8.0pre3 release notes:

"Add akeyconvert to assist in upgrading to OpenAFS 1.8.x by converting 
an existing rxkad.keytab file to an extended key file."

The man pages of akeyconvert and related KeyFile, KeyFileExt, asetkey 
are available in OpenAFS 1.8.

But is there any additional documentation available regarding the 
upgrade procedure?

For example I'm missing information about OpenAFS 1.6 / 1.8 
compatibility and in which order the OpenAFS file and database servers 
can be upgraded.
