I manage an OpenAFS cell running on Debian 9.x openafs 1.6.x.  I know
how to upgrade the Debian OS and I will receive new hardware for the
file servers.  My question is how to upgrade the OpenAFS without
downtime of cell.

What are the recommended procedure for upgrading the database servers
to OpenAFS 1.8?
