i've noticed that sfs just recently started slowing down to an unuseably
slow condition. i'm using it over a wireless connection, but all the
other wireless activities have not been slowed down whatsover. i checked
the underlying disks and they're okay. i stopped and restarted all the
software. i rebooted the client laptop (but not the server).

i suspect nfs as the only error messages i've been able to find was on
the client:

kernel: nfs: task 1227 can't get a request slot

i have a few of these, but that many. what does it mean?

i'm not quite sure what's wrong, but it's definately wrong now. i have
not upgraded any software. is there some upper limit of filesystem size?
i just went over 65GB if that means anything.
