Hi, I am having all sorts of trouble compiling SFS to run on Solaris 8. Has naybody successfuly done so? If so, could you please tell me how. I am having the standard problem 32 versus 64 bit libraries for gmp (solved with ABI=32); however, now it won't compile even if everything is 32 bits. Can sfs really run on Solaris (and is anybody doing it) or is it a Linux only software? The error message I get now is: g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/local/include -I.. -I../async -I../arpc -I../crypt -I../sfsmisc -I../sfsrodb -I../adb -I../svc -I../svc -DEXECDIR=\"/usr/local/lib/sfs-0.7.2\" -DETCDIR=\"/etc/sfs\" -DDATADIR=\"/usr/local/share/sfs\" -DPIDDIR=\"/var/run\" -DSFSDIR=\"/var/sfs\" -g -O2 -Wall -c authclnt.C authclnt.C: In function `bool validshell(const char*)': authclnt.C:102: error: `setusershell' undeclared (first use this function) authclnt.C:102: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in.) authclnt.C:103: error: `getusershell' undeclared (first use this function) authclnt.C:105: error: `endusershell' undeclared (first use this function) make[2]: *** [authclnt.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/sbc/software/src/sfs-0.7.2/sfsauthd' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/sbc/software/src/sfs-0.7.2' make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 Please let me know. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
