New release Time?

I can't help but note that the last release if 2003-April.  Are there 
any plans to release again in the near future?   I have a bug, when 
compiling with Gentoo.

I will try w/o distcc, just to be sure, however, it looks like a 
sideeffect of gcc-3.3   I don't know how to fix it, and I was about to 
start poking at other packages w/ similar issues, and see how they were 
fixed.

Then I checked and saw stream of cvs commits since april.   So now, I am 
asking if there is any plans to release a new version.
