Greetings one and all from the Netherlands, I'm considering deploying SFS in place of - or should I perhaps more correctly say - as an adjunct to NFS. I'm gonna lurk for a while to see what the general flavor of questions and answers are, while I do some reading and try to understand this rather complex but promising 'app. I have two servers one in my office and one at home both running FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE. The one at home sits behind an ADSL router. Given that I want to share my home directory [etc] across the Internet, a secure solution seems most desireable. "Fear and Paranoia" have jointly prevented me from even attempting this yet. I was reading up on tunneling NFS over SSH when I encountered my first mention of SFS. My level of experience could best be described as a moderately knowlegeable hobbyist. I'm no programmer that's for sure, and my knowledge of software 'internals' is sketchy-to-nonexistent.
