Is a new release coming soon?

Hi:

I saw on the mailing lists that you were having a code-a-thon last
week to try to come out with a new release.

I'm looking forward to the new release because I use the newer gcc
(current LinuxFromScratch.org) and I saw in the mailing lists that the
current release dosn't comple properly.  (The mesg suggested the CVS
version but with a real release coming so soon, I decided to wait.)

I keep looking at the fs.net home page to see it there is any news. 
Even if the new release is not coming soon, perhaps you can find a
moment to post a little news for us lurkers.
