my ass is getting kicked. my mac hates working with the multi-gigabytes of picture and movie data that i already have and is happily being exported via sfs. the problem is that my mac only wants to see pictures ending in extensions it likes (e.g. ".jpg", ".mov", etc.). is there any magical way of causing the virtual file system overlay to do that magic for me? i hope it'd be fairly simple to write a virtual file system overlay on linux to perform the 'file' logic to add extensions for me. is there some kind of magic option or easily installed magic option to do this for me? -- Mark Smith [email protected] mark at tux dot org nova-instructor at tux dot org
