SFS and OpenOffice.org v2

I am having a problem with saving documents with OpenOffice.org2 into an 
SFS mounted directory.

The OpenOffice error is:
Error saving the document "<document_filename>"
General Error
General Input/Output Error

The result is a 0 byte file, with the intended name, created on the SFS 
mount.  All other applications (even Oo.org 1.x) seem to work fine.

Software versions (client and server match):
kernel 2.6.15
sfs 0.8.0-pre20050819 (debian package)


I searched the mailing list archives, and Google which found no leads to 
this error.  Maybe this is a repost, as it appears the archives don't 
handle MIME properly.
