Hello, I am brand new to sfs, and trying to get it working. If anyone can help me it would be most appreciated. I am running debian. I have NFS working ok. I worked through the steps shown here: http://www.freshdot.net/various-sfs.shtml I was able to do everything correctly I think, except that when I finish, I can't access anything from the client machine. In the /sfs folder there are no subfolders that I can go into. A folder showns up in red text called "localhost.localdomain". I am thining I probably didn't name something correctly on the server, and that the server is just calling itself "localhost.localdomain" but I am also thinking that I should still be able to access it. In Nautilus, the symlinks in the /sfs folder show up as broken links. If I click on them Nautilus crashes... (obviously a nautilus bug in itself...) Anyway, does anyone have any idea why this might not be working for me, what I am likely doing wrong? Thanks.
