Hello Sebastien, the setting that needs to be changed is the "Windows Display Language" (Windows Anzeigesprache). Unfortunately, while all editions of Windows 8 provide this option, only the Ultimate editions of Windows Vista and 7 show it in the Control Panel. There is a relatively easy command-line workaround for this: http://www.gtkdb.de/index_17_1556.html However, this also changes the language of Windows' own UI, not just the applications running on it. This may or may not be what you intended. I'll add an option to Zero Install for setting its UI language independently of the OS in the next release. I tried to set it to English under: Systemsteuerung\Zeit, Sprache und Region\Region und Sprache\Verwaltung\Gebietsschema ändern But even after a restart of the PC the Zero Install UI is still in German.
