I have updated the home page now: http://0install.net/install-osx.html
Removed the references to the rejected formula and any future bottle.

Also modernized a bit, and added a "short version" for the impatient...
(it is also quite faster, since using /usr/local enables prebuilt binaries)

We don't require X11 anymore, since Quartz is now default.


There's quite a bit of Homebrew annoyances, so might post a (interactive) formula.
Basically you need to set up a bunch of paths etc yourself, when not inside a formula...

Also added instructions how to switch from the Default theme to the Clearlooks theme.
(you will need to install "gtk-engines", and then make it gtk+ find the theme and libs)
