Thomas,
yes the email did not come from yahoo, but a different server,
I'm using yahoo now, so it should come through directly.

Looking back the portage conflict was in merging opam, and syncing
portage fixed that, so that was a temporary problem.
Emerge failed in dev-ml/camlbz2 though, so I'm still using the binary
tarball until I can get that figured out.

0publish-gui still pulls in 0install 1.4.

Using version says
/home/pmiess/bin/0install: /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4: no version
information available (required by /home/pmiess/bin/0install)
- URI: http://0install.net/2007/interfaces/0publish-gui.xml
  Version: 0.11
  Path: (not cached)

  - URI: http://repo.roscidus.com/python/python
    Version: 2.7.10
    Path: (package:gentoo:dev-lang/python:2.7.10:x86_64)

  - URI: http://rox.sourceforge.net/2005/interfaces/ROX-Lib
    Version: 2.0.6
    Path:
/home/pmiess/.cache/0install.net/implementations/sha256=ccefa7b1873926de15430341b912466929fbff8116b6d0ad67c4df6d0c06243e

Not sure that the message with libcurl.so.4 is about but I don't see any
explanation for why it is not chosen.

Using the GUI and selecting the "explain this decision" menu item on
latest version of Zeroinstall returns the following.

...ZeroInstall.xml 2.3.5 is selectable but it would produce a less
optimal solution overall

the changes would be:
...0publish-gui: 0.14 to 0.11
...gnupg: no longer used

If I use the following
0install select http://0install.net/2007/interfaces/0publish-gui.xml
--version-for http://0install.net/2007/interfaces/0publish-gui.xml
0.14 --version-for http://0install.net/2007/interfaces/ZeroInstall.xml
2.3.4

It brings up the UI with an indication that there is a problem with
python-gobject.
I submitted a bug for that from the GUI.

I removed the native package for GPG and the changes you made do allow
the native package to be selected

I wrote up the bug about not creating groups inside groups here
https://github.com/0install/0install/issues/51

I wrote up the delay after pushing the Add Group button here
https://github.com/0install/0install/issues/52

I did not write up application/x-xz-compressed-tar but I can if you like.

I wrote up the need to output a different hash as
https://github.com/0install/0install/issues/53

Thanks for your interest.
Let me know if you need anymore from me on this.
Thanks,
    Phil
