Thanks to your reminder, I > just used this to add the Blender versions 2.77 and 2.78. Ah, I see. I was expecting that I can create a xml file for new version using template from "0install.de-templates" (actually I have successfully did that), then (somehow) merge it into Blender.xml of "0install.de-feeds" and then post a pull request. ^__^ The problem with Blender is that besides regular version (2.77, 2.78, etc) they publish bugfix versions (2.77a, 2.78a). Those bugfix releases are generally more stable and recommended for use instead of ones without letter in the version number. I have modified Blender.xml.template and posted a pull request regarding this - https://github.com/0install/0install.de-templates/pull/1 > What I am still missing is a system for monitoring release websites for new > versions and automatically triggering this process. > > If you find outdated software in the 0install.de feeds you can report it > here: https://github.com/0install/0install.de-feeds/issues > > If you are interested in contributing to 0install.de feeds by adding new > apps or monitoring for updates, please let me know. Yes, I am interested to add new apps, they all open-source and mostly animation-related (Synfig, Krita, OpenToonz, etc.). I am also would like to provide update notifications. I don't want to run my own feed server, because I have a lot of projects already and I won't be able to maintain it regularly. Also, I believe it is more comfortable for other users to find my feeds in some well-known place. I have used "0template" to generate > "Blender-2.77.xml" feed for single new version.
