First, I am not a programmer of any kind. Just a long time user of linux. Your
config.log entry above appears to indicate that some of the libraries needed
to make libofx are being 'skipped over' for 'incompatibilities' of some kind,
so that when they're needed, they're not there. Therefore the make failure.
That's my best guess. How to fix it is beyond my abilities.
Your make10.log - the only thing I can see in it is that it fails in the same
location, "Leaving directory `/home/bob/source/libofx/lib'", which indicates
(to me anyway) that it's probably the same 'libraries' problem.
Your config.log - the only thing that seems to stand out there is this:
...
|| test ! -s conftest.err
configure:20432: $? = 0
configure:20435: test -s conftest
configure:20438: $? = 0
configure:20450: result: yes
configure:20582: checking for gengetopt
configure:20609: result: no
configure:20618: WARNING: *** Not rebuilding command line parser as gengetopt
is not found ***
configure:20650: checking for curl >= 7.9.7
configure:20660: result: 7.12.0
configure:20845: creating ./config.status
## ---------------------- ##
## Running config.status. ##

...
I googled for 'gengetopt' and came up with this:
Focus on Linux - http://linux.about.com/cs/linux101/g/gengetopt.htm
"gengetopt"
Glossary
Definition: gengetopt: skeleton main.c generator gengetopt reads an interface
description file, and writes a skeleton main.c file. gengetopt supports: long
and short options, 11 types of parameters (including flag, int, double,
string, and function call), and a usage message
Maybe this is the problem? I don't know. Just a thought.
I don't know what else to suggest. Maybe a dev can pick up on some of this.
HTH,
Bill
