Using MD 2010r3 (751) with Java Version: 1.6.0_20 on OS X 10.6.4. Generally, I have few problems with Moneydance. But I'm having one that has happened before. I'm printing a Net Worth report with security balances. In the past year or so, this particular report has fit on a single page. No problem printing that. I have another MD file that has a Net Worth report that runs 3 pages. No problem printing that. But during the past week, at least one account was added to the first file that has caused it to carry over to a 2nd page. To be specific, the second page would have just the the horizontal rule (line) that precedes the TOTAL line, followed by the TOTAL line itself. The problem is that the 2nd page is not generated at all. Page 1 (the only page that prints) has the notation "Page 1 of 2" at the bottom left corner, but there is no Page 2 of 2 (either when printing directly to the printer, or printing to the Preview app). I know what WOULD be on the 2nd page by comparing Page 1 of 2 with the report as it appears in the MD window, and noting what is missing. I ran this experiment. I added a test bank account with an initial balance of $1 and today's date as the Start Date, and this is the only difference between yesterday's and today's account list. When I print the Net Worth report for yesterday, it does not print the 2nd page (so there is no TOTAL line). When I print the report for today, the new bank account pushes the remaining accounts down one line, and the 2nd page prints, starting with what was formerly the last line from Page 1 (the balance for an Asset account), followed by the horizontal rule and the TOTAL line. So it appears the the MD report writer fails for me (at least for the Net Worth report) if the 2nd page would only include a horizontal rule and the final TOTAL line. I've seen this problem before (and I reported it), but it always eventually goes away because of changes in my account list (I might buy or sell a security, which changes the length of the report, since I'm including security balances). Until then, I guess I'll have to hand-write the missing data at the bottom of the page I'm getting, which is a real PITA. -Gordon -- Gordon B.
