Find & Replace bug with finding in description field

I'm on build 751, with F&R build 54.

I'm trying to find out how much I've contributed to my SEP IRA. The contribution transactions all have "IRA REGULAR CONTRIB" in the description, and some (but not all) have the same string in the memo field.

In the F&R dialog, I select the SEP IRA account next to "accounts:", and set the date to between 1/1/2010 and 12/31/2010. I set "free text" to "IRA", with all the checkboxes below it checked (description, memo, check#, Include split). Hit find, and only some of the transactions up (1 with the text in both fields, 1 with the text only in the description field. A third transaction, with the text only in the description field, is missing).

Next, I uncheck memo, check#, Include split, leaving only description checked. Now F&R finds all three transactions. Recheck the other checkboxes, and all transactions remain found.

Next, I close the F&R dialog and retrace my steps. Only the two previously found transactions show up in both cases.

Great: a non-reproducible bug. And I get to skim through my account manually to add up my contributions.

It gets better. As I go through the account, I notice that some contributions don't have that text in either the description or the memo field, so I add it to the description field. And now F&R finds all of the transactions, including the ones that used to not show up but did have that text.
