Direct connect with US Bank using MD2011 preview?

I'm sure it worked for me in the past while testing earlier versions of MD,
but today on setting up a US Bank (PFM Direct Connect) account using the ID
settings from a working Quicken file, MD 2011 preview failed to download
transactions with the error:

A communication or parsing error occurred.  This could be the result of a
network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.
Error Description: java.io.IOException: HTTP Error:400 Bad Request

I used the normal MD setup sequence to choose the institution, then entered
ID and account information as set in Quicken (where downloads and bill pay
are working).
