I was looking at http://www.ofxhome.com today and noticed there is a new entry for Bank of America. (Now a total of 4 BofA entries.) I fired up Moneydance and refreshed the list of online banks, but the new Bank of America entry was not there. So I tried to use Moneydance's Advanced Setup feature to manually enter the OFX data for the new BofA entry. It appears that I have entered all of the data correctly because I can connect to BofA, but unfortunately BofA rejects the connection with the error message below. There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below. Bank Name: Bank of America The error code reported by the server was: 2000 Online Banking does not support the version of software that you are attempting to use. Please contact Bank of America at 800-792-0808 or visit bankofamerica.com for more information. I remember many, many years ago Moneydance had an option to change its OFX user agent so that the bank would think it was connected to a specific version of Quicken for Windows. Moneydance no longer has this option in its Preferences UI. Is there some other way to change Moneydance's OFX user agent, perhaps by tweaking some config file?
