MoneyDance 2011r2 (803): Unable to edit split Transaction ?

Due to new year changes in income tax, health insurance, etc. I have a 
need to edit the split transaction I use to enter my paycheck via a 
Reminder.  MD doesn't let me edit the old transaction or if I enter a 
new split transaction I am unable to enter values for the split sub items.

I use to do this action with no problem.  Is this a bug or am I doing 
something wrong?  Help!
