Donald, are you seeing *any* buttons at the bottom of the transaction 
window? For me (running the same version of MD as you are), this looks 
just like a regular split transaction window, with New Split | Delete 
Split on the left and Done on the right at the bottom of the window. Are 
you sure the window isn't getting cut off somehow, trailing off below 
the bottom of the screen?

Also, what Java are you using?
