It is also necessary to turn off MoneyDance and reboot it on the device to force the sync. Double tap the button at the bottom of your iPhone or iPad to bring up the list of running programs at the bottom of the screen. Then tap MoneyDance and the program will re-synch immediately without turning off.

I have used Moneydance on them both, and both have worked fine, and then one day, the syncing, just stopped. On the desktop version, I 'forgot' the device thinking it would be easier to re-setup the connection. Making no progress, I deleted the iphone app, and then installed it again. They refuse to talk to each other. I made sure that the firewall isn't blocking it, and Moneydance can accept incoming connections. I removed the desktop Network Sync extension, and re-installed it, and still am not able to connect the two. I travel alot, so I'm not always on the same 'wireless network' sometimes I have to create my own network, and share internet through my Mac wirelessly. All of
