Hi John,

If you have opted to encrypt your data file then the only non-encrypted data written to disk are your preferences in the ~/.moneydance/config.dct file.  Your preferences do not store any recognisable account data (just column widths, etc).

I can't speak for any third party extensions you may have installed, but all of the ones from us will only sensitive information in the encrypted data file.

We can't however control any unencrypted information that is in in memory and therefore potentially written to your operating system's virtual memory swap file.
