Yes, especially since multi-user update of financial information is, I 
suspect (though I'm *not* an accountant), considerably more complex than 
just preventing users from stepping on one another's transactions.

The issue of needing second-user access for reporting only has come up 
many times, and I imagine Sean has put in some thought on it. I could 
see MD supporting this, and including Yaron's requirement for no account 
access information, simply by creating a duplicate file with account 
access information stripped, and with a read-only marker (in the file, 
just for MD, not a filesystem flag). This could be done on a schedule to 
a specified location, much as backups are done.
