Hmm, interesting. There's no "save unencrypted" option? (I can't test it 
without turning on encryption.) That would seem to be a significant gap.

I wonder if you could load the XML file into another, unencrypted .md 
file and save it, then work with that. That would certainly add three 
steps though, or two steps over processing the XML directly.

Googling <<xml schema site:moneydance.com>> (sans quotes) only yields 
the information that the question has been asked here before, and never 
answered.
