More importantly, do not reply to an existing message. Changing the 
subject is not enough to start a new topic. There are headers added by 
many MUA (Mail User Agents - mail programs to most people) that indicate 
to what previous note that a message was replying. Other MUAs use that to 
to show emails in threads across varying subject names.
