I'm with Dave on this. I do use keyboard commands for apps where the 
majority of the keys are as expected. Now, while I grant you that Ctrl-N 
(or Cmd-N on a Mac) is logical, Ctrl-Shift-G to generate a report (which 
I do much more often than generating a graph) makes absolutely *no* 
sense. Thus, I stick to the mouse in MD, and as Dave said, moving the 
new trans button to the extreme right took some major "getting used to" 
for me.

The best of all worlds would be:

  * Customizable keyboard shortcuts (which would dynamically update the
    hint text on the menus)
  * Customizable toolbars (not just the number/function/location of the
    buttons, but additional toolbars, as well)

In the absence of that, I'd take the ability to just move the existing 
items where I think they ought to be. :-)
