Nice to hear from you again :)

I restored from the last big one and luckily had less than a dozen items to reenter. All OK again. But it begs the question as to what happened. I only have the exchange rate extension. And the item that suffered the change in rate was *way* before that - years back. But from the stuff I looked at whilst it was borked it seemed only cross account items had lost their cleared flag.

That may be the case. Although if there were any bugs in this department they would be fixed in MD2011. Is there a reason you've only updated to MD2010 instead of the latest?

There were some older versions that may under very rare circumstances have left a file in an invalid state if there was a crash while writing, but MD2011 (and, I think 2010, but am not 100% sure) can't have that problem.

Thanks,
Sean
