Check Ben's comments in
https://github.com/fontforge/fontforge/issues/878 - I updated the top
of the issue, you probably need to reinstall Homebrew so that your
FontForge python module matches the App bundle:

$ brew -v install fontforge --HEAD --with-cairo --with-czmq --with-gif
--with-x --with-libspiro --with-pango --enable-pyextension;

This sounds like you have an old FontForge python module that has some
but not all of the collab mode code.
