Would you be interested in updating some of the translations, let's say a 
dozen lines or so? something that maybe takes ten minutes or however amount 
of time you're willing to spend? Once, Twice, however amount of times you 
want?

Small incremental improvements are always appreciated.

Since you aren't interested in using the default language, my suggestion is 
to go into directory po, and modify the Makefile.am to remove the related 
*.mo from the list of files that get installed.

Meanwhile, use a plain-text editor such as gedit (GNOME) or kwrite (KDE) to 
edit the po file a little at a time, and send in your edits to this mailing 
list or better-yet, to the github project as an issue or patch.
